The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning announced on Jan.
25 that Song Jae-seung, researcher at the Korea Electronics
Technology Institute, was selected as head of the Testing Working
Group at oneM2M. The decision was made during the technical general
assembly for oneM2M, a global standardization organization for the
Internet of Things (IoT), held in Florida from Jan. 19 to 23.In addition, Ahn Hong-bum, senior researcher at LG Electronics, was chosen as vice chairperson of the Architecture Working Group at oneM2M.
Mr. Song is widely regarded as a leader in international standards related to the IoT through his 10-year research in the fields of computer and communications standards.
Mr. Ahn is in charge of projects for global standard IoT platforms at LG.
