A double-helping of phone news for UK shoppers this morning -- two new Samsung smartphones have been given UK release dates, while Amazon tries a radical move to drum up sales of its Fire Phone.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5, both of which have metal frames, will hit shop shelves on 12 February. The A3 sports a 4.5-inch display, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for high-res selfies and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The A5 has a larger 5-inch display, also counting among its charms a 13-megapixel rear camera.
